Mike's Beach Resort is a resort for the whole family, located in the evergreen forest of Washington's Olympic Peninsula, on the natural salt water inlet of Hood Canal. We offer you: accommodations including tent sites in the trees, beautiful waterfront cabins, studio apartments, dormitories, and more;
activities that include enjoying our collection of classic films in our own private theater and relaxing on our private beach, to an energetic vacation full of scuba diving, kayaking, boating, and hiking the Olympic Mountains:
nature viewing with bald eagles, Roosevelt elk, deer, seals, and Giant Pacific Octopus; and memories to last a life time!

We love children! Ages 10 and under stay free (2 children maximum per accommodation). Pets are allowed, with a $10 fee per pet per night.
Check in 3:00 PM. Check out 11:00 AM. Two night minimum on weekends, three night minimum on holidays. Reservation deposit is required. Refunds given with one weeks notice. Maid service provided at extra charge. Rates subject to change without notice.
We're located on the west side of Hood Canal, 9 miles north of Lilliwaup on US Hwy 101.

Hill House
We have 8 private cabins available, right on the water's edge. Our honeymoon cabins have a queen bed, a Jacuzzi and a fireplace. We also have a water front Air-stream trailer with two single beds and an outdoor Jacuzzi. Our family cabins have a double bed, with either a queen or bunk beds. All units come complete with kitchenettes and bathrooms.
Mikes Beach Resort's new house " THE HILL HOUSE " has a magnificent view of the canal, a basket ball court and 4 full R.V.s hook ups, all of this just 5 minutes walk from the resort.
Mike's campground has space for 16 tents in the trees near the creek. There are 14 R.V. sites with either full hook-ups or power and water only. A barbeque pit and outdoor shelter let you serve a meal for 50, or cook fresh oysters for two.
Rooms for Families
We have 5 rooms for families, which sleep 6 to 8 people. Two rooms have fireplaces. All our rooms have a view of the water, deck, kitchen and private bath.
Budget Rooms
We offer 4 sleeping rooms for the budget traveller. These rooms have 2 single beds or a double bed with a breakfast nook, and a shared bath.
Property Activities
Mike's Beach Resort is the perfect place for an active vacation for the whole family.
Kids can enjoy our waterfront playground, and the whole family can relax on our private beach, and swim in the warm surface water of Hood Canal in the summer. The top 20 feet reach temperatures in the 70's.
Catch or gather your own dinner, starting on our private clam and oyster beach . Good fishing and crabbing is within a 5 minutes' row. Shrimpers find themselves in the heart of spot prawn territory right offshore.
Boat lovers will appreciate our dock and mooring buoys. We launch boats up to 30 feet in length, and safely moor larger boats. If you don't have a boat, we rent rowboats and a paddleboat, or try out a stable sit-on-top single or double Ocean Kayak.
Mike's Beach has long been a respected scuba diving destination. The waters just off the beach are popular with classes and new divers, while experienced divers will enjoy the deeper reefs to the south.
Hiking, mountain biking, and mountaineering are all easily accessible from Mike's Beach. We're located right in the heart of road and trail access to the eastern Olympic National Forest and Olympic National Park, and make a good basecamp for day trips ranging from tame to wild.
Nature viewing is always a thrill on the Olympic Peninsula, and Mike's Beach Resort offers it all- deer and elk from the forest, bald eagles fishing from shore, seals lounging on the surface, and Giant Pacific Octopus underwater.
And if all this leaves you tuckered out by evening, why not join us in the Cinema Room for classic 16 mm films and current videos? We have a great collection of scuba videos, old Sea Hunt and Flipper episodes, and all the sound Laurel and Hardy movies made, shown on a 14 foot mylar screen.
