Bright Skies is located on the western shores of Honeoye Lake and is tucked away on a private neighborhood drive. Plenty of parking is available in the driveway and across the road.
Enter this grand home through the enclosed foyer with seating, which opens into the great room. Floor to ceiling windows in the living and dining areas provide breathtaking views of the lake. The living room offers all new furniture, a wall of built-in cabinets containing a gas fireplace, television set, dvd and vcr. The dining area provides seating for 6 overlooking the lake, and glass sliding doors to the large upper deck, which offers a propane grill, additional dining space for 4, and hot tub. An open kitchen is well equipped, has a center island, and is arranged to provide a fantastic view of the outdoors as well as the dining and living rooms. Off the kitchen area you will find a laundry room and a half bathroom. Tucked in the back of the home is a bedroom with double bed and lovely view of the front gardens. Situated off the great room, to the southern end of the home, is the lake view master suite. Here you will find a king size bed, gas fireplace, television, and a separate entryway to the deck. The large master bath offers a separate double sink vanity, oversized shower stall, and a roomy sunken bathtub.
An open stairway leading from the great room takes you to the second level. To the left, you will find the third bedroom, which provides two single beds. Straight ahead is the fourth bedroom with queen bed and rose theme. This bedroom is located at the northern end of the home and provides a view up the lake. A linen closet is located in the hallway, and you will also find a full bathroom, also with a double sink vanity and bathtub.
Tucked behind the great room is a stairway leading to the lower level rec room. Here you will find a pool table, wicker seating area, and a leather sectional couch area with a double sleeper sofa pullout bed. Also located on this level are a fifth bedroom with single bunk beds and a full bathroom with shower stall. Sliding glass doors from the rec room take you to a covered patio at lawn level. The sloped lawn leading to the water’s edge also provides 5 steps with handrail to a lakeside patio, complete with dining tables and seating. Landscaping provides beautiful shrubs and plants to enhance the view throughout the year. Across the quiet road is a level lawn, perfect for family games of tag or catch.
Bright Skies is located between Honeoye and Naples, making it a great vacation home choice in any season. The pine trees, fireplaces, and grand master suite add to the appeal of this home as a winter getaway. Hunt Hollow Ski Club is just down the road, and Bristol Mountain is only a short drive away. Cummings Nature Center in Naples offers hiking and cross country ski trails. Wake up and watch the ice fisherman as they brave the cold days in search of the big one. Spring and Fall are perfect for wine tours, and two wineries in Naples make this home a good starting point. Summertime on Honeoye Lake can be enjoyed relaxing on the lawn, dock, patios and deck of this home. Trident Marine is located across this small lake, making it easy to rent a boat for the week or a day. The southern end of this lake offers beautiful areas to canoe or kayak through, and bird watchers will find all sorts of wonders in this area.
