This private waterfront home has a panoramic view
across the lake... from all front rooms. Nestled on a hill
at the top end of Canandaigua Lake near the Yacht
club, this home boasts a premium position to watch
and enjoy all the lake has to offer. A Private Lakefront
with Dock, crystal clear water and a level grass area to
picnic and play makes this cottage a perfect vacation
home for you and your family and friends.
Inside the house, the open floor plan and beautifully
decorated interior gives this house a relaxed and
inviting ambience. The great room has a panoramic
view of the lake. There is a fireplace and writing deck,
large satellite TV, VCR and DVD. And comfortable
seating to read and relax.
A large double doorway
opens to a charming dining room with seating for 7
people.
The fully equipped kitchen has all appliances you will
need during your stay. A breakfast bar and stools,
oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, a door
which accesses the back huge yard and a window
brings the outside inside and allows you to watch the
family play.
The main level also has a single bedroom
and half bathroom. There is a washer and dryer and
garage on the lower level.
Upstairs, the master bedroom has a great lakefront
view. It is furnished with a queen bed and stylish
furniture. The second large bedroom also has a queen
bed and lake views. Bedroom 3 boasts a double bed and
views of the private back garden. There is a full
bathroom adjacent to this bedroom.
Just minutes from public boat ramps and marina. This is
truly an amazing house and setting. Friends visit... and
never leave; families come and beg to stay. The Sun
rises over the hills and gives an almost magical view of
the lake in the morning.
The home has a large dock with for your boat to sit and
watch the lake activities or the 4th of July fireworks.
Water depth at the dock is about 6ft, depending on lake
level and fishing at the dock is great. 75 ft of level
grass area to picnic, play and access the lake for
swimming makes a perfect place to spend your day.
The very large backyard is laid to grass, which makes it
a great place for the kids to play or to engage in family
games. On the Front of the home there is a covered
porch a gas grill, table and chairs for those wishing to
dine outdoors or sip an evening cocktail.
The fishing at Canandaigua Lake is one of the best in
the region. Several guides are available for bass and
other lake fishing.
Canandaigua Lake is calmer than
other lakes in the area, great for water sports.
Kayaking, canoeing, Water skiing and windsurfing are
becoming a popular pastime in the area. A local
company rents the equipment and can arrange to give
you lessons.
Located just 5 minutes from Canandaigua Town, the up
market neighborhood is great for walking and
bicycling. This is your closest location for shopping and
groceries, along with restaurants, antiques, custom Art
shops and a great Wine and Culinary centre.
The FLCC is
a venue offering a great selection of nationally known
artists for outdoor evening concerts.
The Waterloo
Outlet Mall, Eastview Mall Seneca park Zoo, Finger
Lakes gaming track and Roseland’s Water Park, are all
within 45 minutes away. Children will love to visit, an
educational hands on experience located at the Strong
Museum of Play.
