A Cottage for All Seasons -
Located in the heart of Wine Country on a private cul-de-sac on Seneca Lake, this vacation rental has a lot to offer. Right on the lake is the right description of just how close you are to fun and sun in the water. A dock that offers a panoramic view of the lake and enough space for your party to sit and relax or jump right in. Natural beach front with a fire pit plus a ladder on the dock give everyone enough space to enjoy the lake as they want. Fishing opportunities are boundless. While on the dock or right in the living room you can see the fish jumping out of the water. This cottage is located in a prime fishing area. The end of the tale, however, is up to your skills as a fisherman. The lakeside patio offers shade for those dog days of summer. A cool breeze blows throughout the day to be enjoyed in the shade of the patio or the sun of the front yard. A fine rain can even be enjoyed on the patio without getting wet.
Entry in the rear of the cottage into a new addition, with spacious family room, bedroom with queen bed and large closet, and full bath with oversized shower, featuring two massaging shower heads and body sprays. One step down into the kitchen, which has an island for extra counter space, and updated appliances. Through the kitchen is an open dining/living room, with a magnificent lakeview through picture windows. Two additional bedrooms, each with queen size beds and an additional full bath are located just off the living room. Charming stone patio can be reached by the sliding glass doors off the dining room.
Autumn is a time on Seneca to view the varying color shades of the leaves on the scenic hills that surround the lake. This part of the year is truly Seneca at its best. The days remain warm and the evenings especially pleasant for boat rides before dusk. Winter at this location offers a special invitation to those who enjoy being on a lake that does not freeze. The waves offer a drama that can only be seen while right on the water and in this cottage that includes the living room. The spray from the lake sometimes teases the spectator by catching the windows and showing a rainbow of colors. Spring on Seneca is a dynamic energy of nature displaying lake living as life renews. The crisp morning air and the bright sunlight on the water demonstrates to anyone who visits Seneca that life is good and that Seneca is supreme.
