Property Information
Cove House shares 2 acres of private wooded land with Cove Cottage. Situated a short distance from the ocean, there are wonderful views of Blue Hill Bay with forest covered islands in the distance. Eagles, deer, fox and giant blue herons are often sighted on the property or the surrounding protected marshlands. Guests can enjoy exploring the ocean’s edge via the walking right of way to the shore or launch their kayak to visit one of the most beautiful coastal areas of the island.
Cove House (sleeps 10) is a luxurious getaway, newly built and beautifully appointed, perfect for a family or for larger get togethers when rented along with Cove Cottage (sleeps 6).
On the second floor, there is a master bedroom with queen Tempurpedic bed and 2 additional bedrooms, 1 with queen memory foam bed and one with 2 twin beds, and 2 bathrooms. The master bath has a whirlpool tub and a glass shower enclosure with beautiful ocean views. A washer/dryer and 2 decks with ocean views are also on the second floor.
On the first floor, there are 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with a twin bed with a trundle bed, a bathroom with a whirlpool tub, a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, dishwasher, microwave, convection oven, breakfast bar, family room, dining room, and living room with gas fireplace.
Outside there is a patio with table and chairs.
All linens are provided, comfortable beds, charmingly furnished, immaculately clean. Phone, 42" plasma satellite TV and DVD are also provided.
Additional Rate Information
Rates above are for 8 guests. $20 per day for each additional person up to a maximum of 10 people.
Vacation Rental Policies
| Payment Options: Check or money order in US currency only |
| Check In: Check-in from 4pm on Saturday. Weekly rentals are from Saturday to Saturday. |
| Check Out: Check-out at 10am on Saturday. |
| Required Stay: One week |
| Deposits: Deposit: 50% of total amount upon making reservation. Reservation will be held for one week while awaiting deposit.
Balance in full due 30 days prior to arrival.

| Lodging Tax: 7% Maine State Lodging Tax is applicable on all rentals of less than 31 days. |
| Cancellation Policy: Payment refunded in event of cancellation if we are able to rerent for entire period. Any expense of rerenting is deducted from the payment. |
| Other Fees: Security Deposit: $400 for Cove House refunded the week after departure if all is left as found. |
| Other Policies: Smoking is restricted to patio only.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was actually better than the pictures. We were pleasantly surprised to see the kitchen with a counter/bar open to an adjoining sitting room and a lovely water view. The kitchen is very well equipped with any size pan or serving dish needed for a large group. Every bedroom is beautifully furnished, and the master suite is lovely.
