This Lakehouse sits on an acre of land that is part of the shoreline of a mile long spring fed lake. From Spring through Fall, the surrounding trees hide the house from the few summer cabins that share this very special lake. Almost total privacy prevails from September to June when the summer season is over. Summer is a quiet time as no motorboats are allowed on the lake. There has been virtually no development for the last 50 years in Ulster Heights. Pictures testify to the naturalistic views .
The house itself is quite unusual in that it is octagon in shape with cathedral ceilings. It has two separate living quarters (one upstairs and one downstairs) that can be rented separately or together (sleeping 6 or 12 respectively). It is a stones throw from the water. The feel is rustic but comfortable. The house is tastefully furnished and has a l950's sensibility.
This is a well loved private 2nd home that we enjoy sharing with others who appreciate getting away from it all and watching the clouds go by.
