Beautifully situated on the West shore for more than a century, CAMP MINNOWBROOK remains one of the oldest and largest camps on Lake Placid.
With room to sleep 28, Camp Minnowbrook is perfect for family reunions and intimate and unique weddings or gatherings.

Weekly seasonal rental fee July through September $7500.00/week.
Bunkhouse I has 10 bunkbeds, a large bathroom with a shower, 3 sinks and 2 private stalls –perfect for a big slumber party!
Bunkhouse II has two queen size beds, a kitchen and eating area, a large bathroom with shower, 2 sinks and 2 private stalls.
The Main Lodge has a very large Great Room with a 12 ft stone fireplace, sittingroom and diningroom each with its own stone fireplace. The dining area has a custom made table that seats 24 and with the ceiling to floor windows means you dine with spectacular views of Lake Placid.
*Check-in is on Sunday 5pm and check-out is Sunday 11am. Times are strictly enforced due to the large compound and top to bottom cleaning service between groups.
*Security deposit is $1000.00 which will be held up to 30 days after check-out.
*Dogs are welcome but we require an additional deposit of $500.00.
*Smoking is not permitted in the buildings
*Reservations will be held for 3 days. We will send confirmation upon receipt of deposit and information and contracts will be sent.

We are located on the private side of the west shore and can only be reached by a short boat ride. Our dock is large and can accommodate at least 4 of your personal or rental motorboats.

Camp Minnowbrook provides a true Adirondack look for photo or film shoots. Here BLOOMINGDALES take advantage of our rustic look for their fashion catalog.
With our spacious lawns, we provide a unique place for weddings or other special occasions. It is our pleasure to assist families in their planning for any event.
We have large extended family reunions with extremely memorable results.
**Lake Placid held the New York State record for a Lake trout ~32lbs!**
Activities include:
Boating –Waterskiing –Fishing –Hiking –Tubing –Horseshoes & Volleyball –Swimming on our sandy beach
area and more..
Our game room has a Pool Table –Fooseball –Ping Pong and Air Hockey.
