The Pines Cottages have been in continuous business now for over 75 years. This charming and rustic facility offers a quaint but
convenient alternative to your typical chain lodging. Families love to gather here year round, weather it's enjoying conversation by the fireplace or relaxing on one of the lovely stone porches in the summer. Allen Shumaker purchased the property five years ago. Even though he is continuously making changes, improving the quality for his guests, the Pines appears much as it did in the beginning. Many of the cottages have recently been refurbished to reflect a nostalgic feel. Although The Pines appears to step back into time, they offer some of the latest amenities. Such as wireless internet, cable television, and fully equipped kitchens. Being Pet
