Visitors can enjoy a quiet, leisurely stroll, bird watching, storm watching, picnics, hiking, kite-flying, and the many other beach activities offered along the magnificent Long Beach Peninsula. Or they can simply put their feet up on the custom-built deck and delight in spectacular sunsets over the Pacific Ocean and the panoramic ocean views offered by this serene and tranquil dwelling perched atop a high dune.
4 acres of pristine, grassy dunes on this property provide home for a variety of local wildlife and shorebirds. Located a mile north of the City of Long Beach, The Western Downs cottage is a short drive from groceries, post office, churches, a variety of shops and artists' studios, cranberry bogs, parks, golf course, a wildlife refuge, historic lighthouses, the pristine Willapa Bay, and the culinary delights of restaurants that range from down-home local to world-class. Just a 3-4 hour drive from Seattle, WA or 2-3 hours from Portland, OR. (AARP members, please ask about our discount.)
