Chateau 29 is newly renovated, and located in trendy Murray Hill. This is a one room studio with all new furniture, dishes, sheets and towels. You will be very comfortable here and love being so close to everything! Please note that this is one flight up in a walk up building. The building is very safe, if fact, I live here too! It is also larger and more affordable than most hotels you might find in Manhattan. The queen size bed features a European foam mattress that everyone raves about. The decorating is adorable and we do everything we can to make sure you have everything you need to be comfortable and feel like you are staying in a home, rather than a hotel room.

From the roof, check out the Empire State Building - best view in town!! then walk to it in about 15 min and go up into it yourself!
Madison Square park is nearby as are many wonderful restaurants, shopping, book stores, movie theater, etc..all within just a couple of blocks.
The subway is two short blocks away at 28th and Park. Take the 6 train two stops north to Grand Central Station or two stops south to Union Square.
Starbucks with T-Moble Hot Spot just one block up on the corner. Just two stops on the subway to Grand Central Terminal and Union Square.
The neighborhood is great, centrally located and safe.

I stayed at Chateau 29 for my first trip ever to New York City and it was great! Everything I needed was there and the location was perfect. The entire apartment is full of new new stuff. You can tell a woman runs this place, everything has been attended to. There is aspirin and band-aids, dishes, coffee maker plus condements, little dishes of candy around and so on. She thought of everything and I will surely be back to enjoy this homey place again!

I just finished my stay at Chateau 29 with my husband, and it was so nice! Amy was very curteous, efficient, and lived up to all she promised. The apartment was clean and easy to get to from anywhere in the city. I was surprised at how roomy it was! We hear about tiny apartments in NYC, and it was small, but bigger than an overpriced NYC hotel room, and perfect for our week-long stay. Thanks, Amy! We had a great time.
Unfortunately, Amy's places were booked for the dates we needed. But next time we will check out her options first because even though we didn't book with her, she helped us choose between other options by explaining which locations in the city are safe and convenient. When we found a place in the West Village, she confirmed that the area is safe and trendy. She even sent us websites with neighborhood restaurant information and subway transport information. We didn't give her a penny and she still helped us. If this is how she treats strangers, I can only imagine how she treats her guests.
