A full sunlit 200 foot sandy beach with a swimming raft and a roped area for the youngsters. There is docking for everything from canoes to power boats and the State Boat Launch is only minutes away.
Enjoy swimming, boating, fishing, strolling along our grassy hillside, all dappled in sunlight. Need some shade? There is our romantic gazebo, shuffleboard, play area with swings, volleyball, badminton & horseshoes.
The natural attributes of this year-round Adirondackers lifestyle are limitless. Whispering Pines is located in the southwest corner of the Adirondack Park, with Olympic caliber cross-country and downhill skiing as well as snowmobiling all within driving distance. Or cross-country ski from your doorstep.
The area boasts many activities and attractions nearby as well as many fine restaurants. Saratoga Springs, Lake George, Glens Falls and Queensbury are all only 20 minutes away. Enjoy the excitement of the international crowds drawn to Saratoga for the annual August Thoroughbred meet. Lake George offers family style fun, the shopping mecca in Glens Falls, & the six million acre Adirondack Park all await you! Lake Placid Olympic Village and the High peaks region is about 1 1/2 hrs north. |
