Property Description

Welcome to Beech Retreat, a two bedroom, two bath home atop Beech Mountain on a 1.25 acre lot and only five minutes from the slopes! Newly installed mini-splits keep you cool all summer long.

The paved parking leads to the gated stairs and deck at this cozy mountain home with single level living. While there are nine steps down to the deck and entrance, the steps are very short and easier to navigate. Enter to the kitchen and dining area with granite counters and Keurig coffeemaker. Dine inside at the table for four or take it outside to the table on the deck. While a mostly wooded lot, there is also a long range mountain view year round which opens to a wide view in the winter.

Gather in the living room to watch TV or cuddle by the wood-burning fireplace. Down the hall are two bedrooms and two full baths. The Queen suite has a Roku TV with cable, ceiling fan, and a private bathroom. There is a beautiful tiled shower, granite counters, and the washer and dryer is neatly tucked into a closet inside of the large bathroom. The second Queen bedroom also has a ceiling fan and private Roku TV with cable. In the hallway is the entrance to the second full bath with a tiled shower. 

Outside, enjoy the views from the deck or go down to the lawn for the fire pit. In the private front yard is the new hot tub! The neighborhood deer are shy but friendly visitors to the property. 

Awesome PRIVATE location getaway on 1.25 acres with great views, but only 10 minutes to Banner Elk, 40 minutes to Boone (Home of Appalachian State Mountaineers), 40 mins to Grandfather Mountain, and 50 minutes to Blowing Rock offering shopping, restaurants, outdoor adventures, hiking trails, and the gorgeous Blue Ridge Parkway mountain views.

- Pets are welcome for an additional fee of $25/night each. Max of 2 mature dogs, 80lbs each, only.
- Firewood may be added at the time of booking under "Additional Fees" after entering payment info or by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You will receive two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night.
- AWD/4WD and/or chains are needed to navigate the area in times of snow or ice. Please plan accordingly!
- Guests returning to Beech Retreat may receive a discount of 10%, not to be combined with other discounts to the room rent.
