Property Description

Powder Ridge Cabin is nestled in old-growth trees. This rustic mountain retreat can be enjoyed by both families and friends throughout the year. Enjoy the views of the mountains while grilling on your deck. Then, after dinner, relax in your hot tub. This cabin features a living room as well as a family area, so everyone can watch what they like.

In the summer, you can paddle board and kayak at Lake Levinsky. Mountain Village has plenty to offer! The activities range from relaxing at the lake, to ziplining, rock climbing, mountain biking, and bungee-jumping on Big Sky Resort’s trampoline. Do not forget to set aside a day to drive to Yellowstone National Park. The drive is just as scenic as the park itself. Seeing "Old Faithful", erupt, is definitely something you want to cross off your bucket list.

In the winter, you can ski directly out of your cabin and onto the "White Otter Access Trail". You can ski to the base of resort and take the "Explorer", or you can go down "Mr. K", to take the Swifty lift. Ski down to Mountain Village, then walk over to "Vista Hall", where you can enjoy a food court-style lunch. There are options for everyone!

White Otter opens mid-December, and closes April 9th. We do not have control over the schedule of the ski lifts. You may need to transport your small children to the resort if they are not able to ski. Home Layout and DetailsSleeps 14 in beds; Up to 14 allowed.

Additional Notes:We are a local company that manages property. Please let us know if you have any questions before, during or after your vacation. Montana A/C is a good way to cool down the house during summer. It involves opening windows at night, and closing them during the day. Closing the windows during the day will keep cool air in the house. We ask that you close them if you're not at home.

Transportation to Big Sky From Bozeman Airport:It is important to have a vehicle available during your stay in order to enjoy all that Big Sky offers. You can travel easily from the Gallatin river to Lone Peak. In other communities, taxis and ride-sharing services are plentiful. However, Big Sky is a small community with limited transportation options. We offer a 5% off code to Explore Rentals. They are located just minutes from the Bozeman airport and offer 4-wheel drive vehicles equipped with snow tires during the winter and all season tires during the summer.
