● Drive, bike, or walk within the community. You will need a car to go anywhere outside of the community. Uber and taxi cabs are available in the area, but can have long wait times or be difficult to find.
● We strongly recommend that you travel in an AWD/4WD vehicle. We are located in the mountains and roads tend to be sloped and can get very icy.

● The rental agreement will be sent to you once the reservation is accepted. Your booking is only confirmed once it is signed. Kindly complete it within 24 hours to secure your reservation. If not signed within the deadline, your booking may be cancelled with no refund.
● This property can host a maximum of 8 guests, including children and infants, per the local governing regulations.

DOG FEE:
● $50 per dog. All dogs must be vetted. We allow a maximum of 3 dogs per booking, and we have the right to decline dogs based on breed or age. The appropriate fees will be requested once final approval has been confirmed.

REGISTRATION:
● Guests are REQUIRED to register with Arrowhead Lake Community and pay the transaction, gate card, and temporary membership fees. Wander Home will process the registration and all payments will be requested through the booking platform. Failure to complete and pay for registration will result in the cancellation of your booking without a refund.
● Vehicles – Entry gate access (QR code) will be sent via email
● Amenities – Amenity passes will be sent via email

MANDATORY fees are as follows:
● Non-refundable transaction Fee per group: $20
● Vehicle Gate Card Fee: $20 per card
● Temporary Membership (age 6 and over):
- $8.50 per person and per day ($42.50 weekly) in-season (May 23, 2025 through Sept 1, 2025)
- $2.00 per person and per day off-season (April 1, 2025 to May 22, 2025 and Sept 2, 2025 onwards)
● Additional $100 FEE for late registrations or last minute bookings made less than 3 days prior to check-in (Community Policy)

● NOTE: The Administration/Transaction Fee is non-refundable regardless of a cancelled rental registration. Temporary Membership fees and Vehicle Gate Card fees are only refundable if the request to cancel the rental registration with ALCA is received not less than three (3) days prior to arrival. These fees are charged separately as the platform do not have a way to calculate the fees based on the number of guests that are 6 years and older or the number of vehicles.
● POOLS - Open in Summer only. Pools will only be open on weekends until mid-June when they will be open daily, staffing/weather permitting.
● LAKES - Open for boating (and swimming) however, the water is still very cold. Anyone on a kayak, canoe, paddle boat or boat less than 16 ft in length is required to wear a lifejacket.
● BEACHES - Open in Summer only. Swimming is at your own risk.
● RENTAL SHACK - Open in Summer only. Open on weekends until mid-June when they will be open daily, staffing/weather permitting. Kayaks, canoes, paddle boats, bicycles and sports equipment can be rented.
● Access to the Arrowhead Lake community amenities (such as the pool, lake, beach, etc.) is managed by the HOA and is subject to change without notice. Availability, operating hours, and reservation requirements are outside of our control. We recommend checking the official community website or calling their direct office phone number for the most up-to-date information before your stay.
● Please note, these are not our fees as the hosts, but fees the community requires all guests to pay to cover the costs associated with operating and maintaining all the great amenities and facilities at Arrowhead.

● Wander Home requires that all guests have their profile 100% verified. Please upload your government-issued ID and payment method in your account settings, as well as send us a photo of your ID.
● Eligible refunds are subject to a 6% processing fee.
● A damage waiver fee ($40) is included for all reservations. Most channels add this upfront. Others do not have this capability, and it will be manually added to the invoice once the reservation is confirmed.
● Given the rural setting of the property, occasional sightings of ants, spiders, flying insects, and mice may occur despite our year-round pest control efforts. We strive to manage these encounters to the best of our ability, but cannot guarantee that the house will be completely pest free.
● NOTE: We provide enough essential items to cover stays of about 2-3 nights. If you need more supplies during your stay, you can visit one of the following nearby stores: Family Dollar, Ahart's Market, CVS, Wawa, and Pinewood Deli
● We do our best to ensure there is propane available for grills and/or fire pits, but cannot guarantee there will be propane for use throughout your stay. If all available tanks are empty, we ask that you refill a tank and provide a receipt for reimbursement. Note: be sure to refill/replace the existing tanks - do not purchase a brand new tank
● When drought, weather or other conditions present an unusual fire risk, a burn ban may be imposed by the community without prior notice.

FAQs:

1. Are we required to pay the community fees even if we are not using the amenities?
Yes. Those are mandatory fees by Arrowhead Lake Community.

2. Can I bring my dog and cat?
If you are bringing a dog, please contact us first as we require all pets to be vetted before accepting your stay. Cats are not allowed, sorry.

3. Where is the listing located?
The house is in the gated community of Arrowhead Lake.

4. How far is the lake and pools?
Beach 3 - 10 min walk
Island pool - 20 min walk
Other beaches and pools - short drive

5. How can we register with Arrowhead Lake Community?
Registrations will be processed by us. Renters are not allowed to register directly. Payments will be collected and must be completed 3 days before check in.

6. Do you allow more than 8 people?
Unfortunately, Tobyhanna Township has strict regulations regarding headcount. We can only accommodate up to 8 people, including children and infants, in the house.
