Property Information
Surround yourself with hundreds of acres of woods and a quite lake at the Knutson Family Lakeshore Lodge. Built by two pioneering lumberjacks in 1934, this well-preserved log home is located on Butternut Lake near Park Falls and Butternut, Wisconsin.
The spacious two-story lodge has 1200 feet of lake frontage on a 5 acre parcel of land. Enjoy a lake view from every room in the house. The four large bedrooms upstairs are perfect for a large family or multiple families. Each room has a queen or king size bed; two rooms also have bunkbeds. Sleeps 12 people comfortably. A full bath and common sitting room are also upstairs.
Downstairs, a large kitchen with lots of counterspace flows openly to the dinning room with antique wood table. A large 6'x8' fieldstone fireplace is the focalpoint of a well-furnished livingroom. 1/2 bath, games cabinent, piano, and sitting area also downstairs. Original wood plank flooring throughout (rugs in livingroom and diningroom; carpet in masterbedroom upstairs). Laundry and modern shower located in clean basement.
Play horseshoes, volleyball, and basketball outside. Canoe, paddle boat, and 12' row boat included with rental. Paddle around the penisula to our private bay to search for turtles and frogs and for your best chance to see a fawn walking the shorline with her mother.
A bald eagle resides in the tall pine tree on the point of this property. As you have your morning coffee on the dock, she will be about 80 yards to your left watching over you.

Payment Schedule · 30% of amount (accommodations rental, & taxes) is due within 10 days of receipt of Confirmation of Reservation. Balance plus damage deposit is due 90 days in advance of arrival date.

· Cancellations made 120 days prior to occupancy date will receive full refund. · Cancellations made less than 120 days prior to occupancy date will receive back ½ of the accommodation and full damage deposit and tax. · Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to occupancy date and 'no shows' will forfeit the entire accommodation but will receive back damage deposit and tax. · Forfeiture of the accommodation will not apply in the event the property manager is able to secure alternate bookings for dates cancelled.
