The "Inn At The Lake" offers superior luxury in a Mediterranean-style villa on lake frontage with a private dock. Having been converted from a bed and breakfast to a vacation rental it has over 7,000 square feet of space making it a perfect accommodation for large families, family reunions, group outings or business meetings.
Summer Activities
The lake is artisan fed and the water is crystal clear. The summers are warm and there are a variety of water sports including fishing, swimming, boating, water-skiing, kayaking, and anything else you can think of. At our sandy beach we have two 2 person kayaks and a 2 person paddle boat down on our own private dock where you can also moor your own private boat. There is a free public boat launch just ¼ mile north. The lake is stocked with 42,000 trout each year and fishing from the dock will always get you something. In the evenings the sunsets over the lake are breathtaking.
Winter Activities
The winters are cold with plenty of snow. There are three ski resorts less than an hour away, Mount Spokane, Schweitzer, and 49 Degrees North. This house is the perfect spot in between them if you are looking for a weekend of skiing. Diamond Lake is also a great winter attraction, it freezes over with a 14 inch layer of ice which makes a great area for snowmobiling, ATV riding, skating, and cross country skiing. You may occasionally see deer or moose crossing the lake.
