Property Information
The Golden Caboose is charming, healing, peaceful and full of the history and romance of railroads. Once owned by Sunny Jim Peanut Butter, Golden Caboose resides on a secluded bank overlooking Puget Sound's Pirates Cove on Hammersley Inlet, between Belfair and Olympia, just off Hwy 3.
Private Hot tub and Beach (above): Six person Olympic Hot Springs Spa with complete cedar surround steps and an unbelievable view.
The Golden Caboose has been artfully remodeled from top to bottom. The original iron base and hardwood floors were preserved. New walls and a higher ceiling were built in the style of the original Great Northern caboose. On the back side of the caboose a kitchen, bathroom and bedroom have been added. The large living room window offers expansive views of Puget Sound.
A private hot tub, right out the door has wonderful views of Puget Sound. A stairway to the private beach gives you access to long walks, beach combing, oyster and clam digging.
