This is an incredible and new cabin in the Dover Bay development in Dover (Sandpoint) Idaho. We looked for years for the perfect vacation home next to a Lake and a Ski mountain with a lot of wildlife and a true sense of the outdoors. This is the best place on Earth. Beautifully furnished and able to sleep 11 in four bedrooms, this cabin does it all. It has an outdoor and indoor fireplace for those treasured evenings. The large, nearly 900 sq ft wraparound porch will make for great memories for you and your family. Lake Pend Orielle is one of the most naturally beautiful lakes in our country and it is close to everything. The small town of Sandpoint has a tremendous bay and marina with small shops and great restaurants for the 1.5 mile trip to town. Dover is filled with paths and bikeways for exercise and/or bird/animal watching. Bald eagles and osprey fish in front of you and the mammal life is fantastic if that's what you're looking for. Great place, oasis, lots to do, perfect!

March 2008
We just spent four days in this beautiful cabin just moments from Sandpoint. Those who ski/snowboard spent two amazing days on the slopes with fresh powder and one day a view all the way to the lake. March Madness was enjoyed (as well as several movies) on the big flat screen tvs. Meals were prepared in the well stocked kitchen. On our way into Ivano's for our one "eat-out" meal we spotted two moose hanging alongside a creek near the roadway. Brian, Cheryl and Allen were all wonderful.
January 2008
We had 11 people staying in this house for three nights over MLK Jr weekend to ski, hang out, and make merry. The house is GORGEOUS, all newly furnished and so great for groups. Flat screens everywhere (great for the big day football games!) and 2 gas fireplaces. We particularly loved the appliances in the kitchen and the master bathroom with his & hers sinks, huge double-headed shower, etc. The owners, Brian & Cheryl, are so friendly and accommodating and I can't wait to come back here! It's not too far from Sandpoint (3 minutes driving) and we snowshoed in on the bike path which runs right near the house into town. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Months of rest in a single week. Absolute beauty, natural surroundings and mother nature everywhere. The kids have a never ending adventure right outside the door.
