★ THINGS TO NOTE ★This home requires access via 30+ stairs from the parking area. We recommend packing smaller bags so that you can get your things in and out easier Cameras are located in the parking lot and on the upper deck of the back deck. They measure snow accumulation. In the winter, this home is only accessible by 4WD or chains. In the warmer months, there is enough parking for two cars. In winter, there is only enough parking for one car due to the snow.

The house is located in Beech Mountain, a small vacation town in North Carolina. The home's remote location, small-town charm and tranquil ambiance make it a great place to relax and rejuvenate. The tranquil setting and natural surroundings offer a variety of attractions for you to enjoy, including a playground that offers spectacular views, an adventure-tower, a seasonal sledding slope, Fredas General Mercantile and a history museum.

Both Beech Mountain & Banner Elk offer a variety of activities, including skiing/snowboarding and snow tubing. Other activities include eco-tourism, zip lining, mountain biking, ATVs off-road, rafting and fly fishing.

Beech Mountain is accessible by 4WD or AWD, even though the Town of Beech Mountain clears the snow quickly from the main roads in the winter. During the winter months, 4WD and/or chain are required to reach this home.
