The Turtle's Nest. Close to village, golf and beach!
This bright and lively home is large enough to accommodate two families or friends on vacation in St. Simons Island. The fully equipped kitchen has plenty of counter space to prepare a meal. If you want to be creative, you can pick up some local fish and grill it on the charcoal grill. Enjoy the living area with a large-screen TV for streaming, or the comfortable porch. The main level finishes with a master suite with a King-size bed and en-suite bath.
You can use the private washer and dryer on the second floor to wash your swimsuits or sundresses. This floor has three bedrooms, two with queen beds and one with twin beds. Four bathrooms means there will be no argument over the showers in the morning.
After a day at the beach, you can wash off the sand with the outdoor shower and then join everyone in the playroom and den downstairs. Relax on the couch while a movie is playing on TV, or gather everyone around the table to play games.
What's Nearby? While you will live in a quiet area, you will still be close to many island activities. If you don't want to cook, you can walk to the nearby restaurants if you are hungry. St. Simons Island Lighthouse Museum is just over a half-mile away, as are Neptune Park and St. Simons Pier. These attractions offer unique oceanfront experiences to you and your group. Seaside Golf Course is only two miles away.

What a great location! 5 minutes walking to the beach and an easy bike ride downtown or really anywhere on St. Simons. The house was a little dated, but it was great that they allowed our dogs. Would stay there again!

Absolutely fabulous vacation home! We rented the Turtle Nest for our family of five with three teenage daughters, and my mother- and father-in-law. The location is perfect with easy access to the beach and activities. The living spaces have a lot more room than the pictures give it credit for. We had lovely weather so we spent a lot of time on the screened porch and front porch. The game table/bumper pool is a nice addition. Our kids are older so we didn't need the playhouse or other toys, but I know I would have appreciated them a few years back!

The house was clean and all the furnishings were comfortable, yet it wasn't fussy so we weren't afraid we'd break anything (I'm a bit of a nervous nellie, so that's important!) We would absolutely refer friends and family to stay at the Turtle Nest!
