After kicking off the year with spring festivals all around the state, Maryland’s Ocean City is famous for the Cruisin’ Ocean City Car Show running May through June. This time of the year the city is flooded with thousands of classic cars, trucks, Hot Rods, and the car enthusiasts. Cruisin’ Ocean City Car Show includes over 3000 unique "rides" as well as parades and car shows all over town. You can even register your own car in the daily parades across the Boardwalk. Streets are filled with vendors offering trendy products and services. Yummy food and hundreds of prizes top off the fun. This is one weekend in Ocean City you do not want to miss.

Six Pillars Century Blackwater Tour
If you are interested in keeping active while traveling, take part in the Six Pillars Century Blackwater Tour in May. Bicycle across beautiful back roads of the Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge in Cambridge, Dorchester County. You have three route choices: a 37-mile fitness ride, a 56-mile trek on the famous Ironman Eagleman course, or the breathtaking 100-mile Century Course by lovely homes and woodlands along the Chesapeake Bay.
Begin your day with a coffee and breakfast at the Great Marsh Park then return to the park for a picnic of burgers, hot dogs, salads, and more! All routes are filled with staff and rest stops if you need anything. Also, remember to pick up a designed tee shirt once you are done as the proceeds will go to the Character Counts Mid Shore's character programs for over 8,200 students at zero cost to the schools or taxpayers.
