Enchanting Ocean Front Cottage on the Rockbound Coast of Wheelers Bay. This spectacular, ocean front cottage is located in the Camden/Rockland area of Maine. Every room has a fabulous view of the sea and it's own 200 feet of rock bound coast. It boasts a new first floor master bedroom suite, a queen size bed a bath and a private sitting area. Three other ocean view bedrooms are on the second and third floors. The house is located on a peninsula at the end of a quiet, private lane. Floor Area: 3000 sq. ft. (1 sq m aprox. = 10 sq ft).

Bedroom 1 is a brand new addition with it's own private sitting area expansive ocean views and private entrance and bath. Bedroom 2 is on the second floor, has a shared bath and beautiful eastern ocean views. Bedroom 3 is on the third floor, it has expansive ocean views both northerly and easterly directions and its own private sitting room and half bath. Bedroom 4 is small and on the second floor with a lovely ocean view to the north.

This cottage is located at the end of a 1/2 mile quiet, private, gravel lane... Most every home in the area is a year round home and not used as a rental. House are spaced well so you do not feel too isolated. We are surrounded by incredible, natural landscaping, pine, balsam, ragosa roses and berries of all sorts. Wild life is abundant and sea and land birds abound. We have a family of loons who live directly in front of the house. You can walk the shore around the peninsula for exercise and meditation! At the begining of the lane 1/2 mile from the cottage, we are blessed with a wonderful Inn and Restaurant. The Craignair...so if you don't feel like cooking you can walk to dinner.
The cottage faces a small working harbor which is boardered by small islands...great to explore with the ocean kayaks. There is a sand beach close the cottage only a short walk from the deck...wonderful for children to dig in the sand and find wonder in the tidal pools.
There are 4 golf courses in the nearby area. Tennis courts which owned by the town are only 10 minutes away. Swim in nearby fresh water lakes and ponds, or in the ocean, which is just 60 feet from the living room. We have a mooring which can hold a 30 foot boat directly in front of the cottage (use at the owners risk). There are movie theaters in Rockland, approximately a 15 minute drive away. Also nearby are many galleries, a beautiful museum, and many places to shop.
