Located on the Bigwood golf course, less than a mile north of Ketchum, this luxurious home is just a few minutes from center of town or from Sun Valley Lodge and only 5 minutes from the Thunderspring health spa and sports complex.
On the main floor, a living room with a rock fireplace and a cathedral ceiling opens to spectacular 180-degree wrap around mountain and valley views, with 2 balconies. A separate family room/den area has its own fireplace and a full surround sound entertainment system. A guest bedroom on the main floor has a King-size bed.
The state-of-the-art kitchen is a cook’s dream, with a Dacor professional stove, limestone slab countertops with 2 separate prep areas, 2 extra-quiet Bosch dishwashers and all the other amenities a chef needs. The dining area has seating for at least people.
The top-floor master suite offers a view of Mt. Baldy from the king-size bed, a fireplace, an entertainment system and French doors opening to a balcony. The master bath is of French limestone and includes an oversized soaking tub and oversized separate shower, separate double vanities with his and her sinks and a walk-in closet.
A comfortable office area separates the Master Suite from the main floor, with a built-in desk and cabinets, two phone lines, a dedicated fax/modem line, and high-speed internet access both modem and wireless. The owners usually leave the flat screen monitor available for guest use.
On the lower floor is a Billiard Room with a full wet bar and 2 guest rooms – 1 with a Queen bed and a walk-in closet, the other with 2 Queen beds and a private bathroom. The large mudroom has direct entry from the heated garage, and separates the laundry room from the main part of the home.
A paved rear patio with a gas barbeque, large seating area with mountain views and hot tub is easily accessed from every room in the house.
The home can be rented with or without the full apartment above the garage, which includes its own living room/dining area with fireplace and Queen sleeper sofa, a full kitchen, the fifth bedroom with queen-sized bed, a bathroom and its own laundry area.
