A Historic Setting; The Boathouse is over 100 years old. The original purpose being a working boathouse for boat building and repair. The renovation began in 1996. It sits on granite, supporting a fifty foot concrete deck and house measuring 36' x 36'. Water surrounds the house on three sides, giving the feeling of being on a ship. The views are expansive, leaving one in awe! Further, the furnishing and amenities are that of an elegant lodge. The Boathouse on Long Lake is a place that you will want to return to!

The Main House will sleep ten. It has three bedrooms and a large sitting/sleeping area on the second floor. There is a full bath on each floor. The bedrooms feature a nautical theme with Oak Captain beds that provide great sleeping & expansive views. The bathrooms are of the era, with all the modern upgrades.

In the summer enjoy swimming, boating, fishing... right from the deck! We also have many beautiful hiking and climbing opportunities close by. Don't miss the breath taking autumn foliage! During the winter months snowmobile, crosscountry ski, downhill ski, skate, ice fish and fall in love with the scenic Maine winter... all from The Boathouse!

The Boathouse faces the sunrise on the lake and often times, waking from the captain's beds, you will see boats already quietly cruising in the morning mist. Before long the sun is high and the fun is in full motion with a festival of watersports!
