Step out onto the patio and walk to the clubhouse and Devil's Knob Grill. Chilly? Turn on the fireplace: it's so easy! Enjoy the view through our living and dining rooms' expansive windows. Recently redecorated: new and luxurious appointments abound. Two master suites each have King beds. The third bedroom can be a third master suite making two twins into a King, or it can be a room with 3 twin beds. Perfect for 3 couples, 2 couples and children, or other adults and children groups. High speed DSL, four TVs each with VCR/DVD players, washer, dryer, and fully equipped kitchen enhance the convenience and comfort of your stay. A resort shuttle stop and the Wintergarden Spa are only a few steps from you. Hiking trails, tennis complex, with indoor, & nature walks are here. New, high thread-count linens are used in the bedrooms. New, plush pillows and blankets pamper you. Beautiful, high-quality coverlets and quilts adorn the beds. Bedskirts and draperies were custom-made by an experienced decorator. One Master suite has a fresh red, brown, and green botanical decorative theme. Another Master bedroom has a cream and green Williamsburg theme. The twin beds bedroom has bright decor, using bright blues, greens and turquoise colors. The usual central heating system is supplemented by baseboard heaters in each room, so there are comforts of all kinds.
Linens and Towels provided, Hair Dryer, Radio/Alarm Clocks, Iron, Soap, Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Central Air and Heat, and supplemental Baseboard heat in each room. An extensive supply of spices is stocked the kitchen.

Something for Everyone: Snow sports are only the most obvious things here. Wintergreen is in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The George Washington National Forest and the Blue Ridge Parkway are adjacent. Its 11,000 acres include winding trails, cascading streams, and lush forests. Wintergarden Spa and Aquatics & Fitness Center provide a full range of pampering and fitness services and it's right beside our place. Tennis: 3 deco-turf Indoor courts and 19 composition clay outdoor courts hold matches, clinics and lessons. Family and children's activities: the slopes-side Out of Bounds Adventure Center, Games Dome, crafts, campfires, guided nature walks, hayrides. 20-acre Lake Monocan recreation area and horseback riding, with trail rides and lessons for all levels, are in Stoney Creek. Short drives take you to historic properties, the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Civil War attractions, Monticello (Thomas Jefferson) and Ash Lawn (President Monroe). The spacious 16,585 square-foot clubhouse has a pro shop, locker room, snack shop, and fine dining in the Devils Grill Restaurant. Rates are from $65 to $115. Stoney Creek Golf Course, in Rockfish Valley, has been the site of numerous professional and amateur championships. Created by Rees Jones, it is open year-round with 27 holes on the distinctive Monocan, Shamokin, and Tuckahoe nines. The spacious clubhouse has a pro shop and indoor and outdoor dining. Ski Resort and Stoney Creek: Snow Sports R Us! Take the shuttle from our parking lot 2 minutes to the slopes - 25 slopes and trails, that is. Avoid the hassle of parking & stomping uphill in your boots and stay with us. Our condominium is a beautiful, warm retreat, with many custom-made features. It's the perfect place for 3 couples; 2 couples and children; 3 adults used to privacy, comfort, and convenience; or other combination of adults and children. The Washington Post rated us the 'Best Ski Resort' for the second year in a row. Ski or snowboard one day on the mountain and play golf in the valley the next. And a skating rink is being planned. Stoney Creek? Wintergreen's sister property in Nellysford which is in Rockfish Valley, just 10 - 15 minutes away, depending on the kind of mountain driver you are. Golf, restaurants, tennis, horses, & Lake Monocan are there.
Ski: Snow Sports R Us! Take the shuttle from our parking lot 2 minutes to the slopes - 25 slopes and trails, that is. 14 trails are lighted for night skiing and snowboarding. 5 chair lifts include 2 high-speed-six-person lifts, 1 quad, 1 triple, and 1 double. Slopes cover extensive beginner-to-expert terrain, with 42% Black/Double Diamond, 35% Intermediate, and 23% Beginner, including the new Discovery Ridge learning area. Ski right up to one of 3 restaurants for a meal break. Enjoy Snowsports School, Tubing, or special children's programs at the Treehouse.
