Enjoy two porches & deck complete with porch furniture, swings, gas grill & night lighting on back deck. A close location to the beach, volleyball court, restaurants, shops, playground, tennis ct, gym, basketball ct, library, market, lighthouse & pier. A special treat is yours to enjoy next door to top off your stay with us. Walk through the gate & enter the "Garden of Eden" with all the splender! Enjoy the scenic, tropical garden, running water fountains, arbor w/ceiling fan & low, romantic lighting at night; have a seat in the wicker glidder under the palms trees, relax & enjoy the cool, ocean breeze while sipping your favorite drink! Property Activities
Bikes, Golf Carts, Surfboards, Boats, fishing gear & Mopeds are available for rental here on the island. We have Central H/A, free WIFI, FM stero/radio , CD player, DVD, Cable TV, washer & dryer, & side by side refrigerator/freezer w/ice maker/filtered water, which are all included in your rental. The Turtle Cottage is off the ground with about 3 steps before entering the house should you be concerned about the height. Paper towels, toilet paper, kleenex, & hand soap is supplied to start off your stay; thereafter, you must supply them. We supply beach towels, beach chairs, & a beach caddy to haul all your gear to the beach.
This nostalgic cottage will make you feel you've gone back in time by having that quaint cottage look it once had years ago, but with today's modern conveniences. We've splashed cheerful colors on the walls to give it a glow and scattered art throughout the house. The location is in a nice residential area with sufficient lighting in the evenings, and is in walking distance to area shops, restaurants, galleries, parks and attractions. You also will have access to the 'Garden of Eden' next door with palms, fountains, furniture, and plenty of room for grilling and relaxing--perfect for a gathering of friends and family! Bikes, mopeds, segways, and golf carts are available to rent close by and are a great way to see the island and experience the warmth and hospitality of the people. Property address is 303 A Butler Ave. Tybee Island, GA 31328. Butler Avenue is the main & closest street to the ocean running parallel to the beach. You are covenient to everything. We chose to name our cottage the 'Turtle Cottage' because Tybee is big on protecting sea turtles and their nests on the beach. Once you have visited Tybee, you will see an array of artistic turtles placed throughout our unique island with each one having their own name & personality. Our 'Turtle Cottage' also has turtles in each room to greet you with a warm welcome and they like to be close to the beach too. One minute walk & you are on the beach. We provide a beach caddy that will carry your cooler, chairs, towels, food, etc. How easy is that? No paying meters, and a restaurant & bathroom a few feet away from your selected spot on the beach. This location on the beach will give you a birds eye view of all the interesting ships coming into Savannah's harbour.

MEMORIAL PARK with children's new playground equipment, tennis court, basketball court, & volley ball court. YMCA GYM - daily rates available.
