This charming, artistic 1940's cottage has been newly renovated & decorated to appease any beach comber. Leave your car at home because it's only a minutes' walk to the beach. The Flamingo has 2 BR's; 1 w/ king size bed w/cable TV, 1 with twin beds along with a queen sleeper sofa in the LivRm w/cable TV, & DVD. It sleeps 7 people comfortably, but YOU ALSO HAVE THE OPTION OF RENTING AN ADDITIONAL UNIT NEXT DOOR (LISTING UNIT #31295) WHICH WILL GIVE YOU A TOTAL OF 4 BR'S, 2 FULL BATHS, AND SLEEP 12-14 PEOPLE. PLEASE INQUIRE AVAILABILITY UPOIN REQUEST FOR BOTH UNITS. The Flamingo has a new full size bath w/tub & shower, totally furnished kitchen, liv/dinning combined, laundry room with washer & dryer, furnished front & back decks w/ grill. The area is residential , well light & close to the beach, restaurants & shops. We give our guest an additional treat by using the tropical, private, romantic courtyard just by entering the sailboat gate. Small pets allowed in the Flamingo unit under 20 lbs with a $100 pet fee. Bathroom has just been completed and offers you both a new tub/shower with marble tub surround, 5 ft. vanity with new sink, faucet, mirror, cabinet, countertop, light fixtures & tile floor. Did I forget to mention it has that beachy look & those beachy colors. Oh! yeh, look for the friendly flamingos to keep you company!
All bed linens, pillows, blankets, towels, kitchen towels, beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella,and beach caddy are supplied with your rental. Wireless internet is included in your rental. Small pets allowed under 20 lbs with a $100 pet fee, Dogs are not to be left alone without crating. Absolutely - No smoking inside. Please contain all butts in container.
One off street parking area per unit. Each unit has 6 beach chairs & 6 beach towels. Paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, kleenex, hand soap, coffe, cream & sugar are supplied to start you off, then you must begin to purchase these items. Bikes can be rented locally for about $10 a day. Also, golf carts can be rented to explore the island, too. If you have a boat, you can keep it at the marina in a boat slip; we have no room for boat & trailer in driveway. There is a gym 1 block away if you like to work out; they have a small daily fee. Also there is a tennis court, basketball court, volleyball court, new children's playground, picnic area & library in the same area close by.

Property Activities
Tybee Isand is very unique & is located just minutes from historic downtown Savannah on Hwy 80 East. Savannah has that southern charm atmosphere with large oak trees, beautiful, restored homes & buildings, old cobblestone walkways & private shops & restaurants on the river, The many squares with monuments, trees & flowers throughout the city are a site to behold. Tybee is at the very end of Hwy 80 until you meet the Atlantic ocean head on; you can not go any further. We have saved the best for last!! Tybee dates back to 1520 & was a safe haven for pirates. It's also close to Hilton Head, S.C., Brunswick, Ga, Jekyall Island, & 2 hrs. from Charleston, SC. & approximately 2 hrs. from Jacksonville, FL. Tybee & the surrounding area is loaded with places to go & things to do. Tybee's working light house, built in 1773, is Georgia's oldest & tallest lighthouse. It is one of America's most complete, historic light house. Don't miss visiting it - it has the best view of the whole island & the Atlantic ocean. Along with visiting the Lighthouse for one small fee you also get to visit the Headkeeper's House, Summer Kitchen, 1st Assistant Keeper's House, Garage, Fuel Storage Building, 2nd Assistant Keeper's House, Lighthouse Gift Shop and the Tybee Museum with 400 yrs. of history. How about that for a few bucks? There is a great, restaurant right on the beach beside the museum (North Beach Grill) for a nice lunch & a cool drink and some music while enjoying the ocean breeze.
