Relax, and enjoy life at a slower pace. Dine on the screened porch or sunbathe on the attached deck and enjoy the quiet. Play at either of the two championship golf courses (Tara or Monticello) or go boating or fishing on 70,000 acres of lakes at Strom Thurmond Reservoir. Our Condo at Savannah Lakes Village in McCormick will provide the perfect retreat between the many activities that the area offers. There is a swimming pool and whirlpool at the Activity center. You will also find a bowling alley, fitness center, tennis courts and a snack bar there. Next to SLV is Hickory Knob State Park which has another fine golf course (Tom Jackson design), and a small restaurant.
The town of McCormick provides restaurants, churches, museums and an annual antique show. We are on the South Carolina border with Lincolnton, Georgia and 40 miles north of Augusta and Augusta National Golf Course (The Masters). |
