Make your next mountain getaway one to remember here in the Whispering Hills Resort Community. Our house is conveniently located in a beautiful gated community nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains just over a mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Equipped with all new furnishings, marbleized baths, large living/dining rooms and open living spaces, our house has everything you could ask for to enjoy your vacation. For those whose ideal vacation in the mountains incorporates class and sophistication, then this property is for you.
The main floor has a spacious and comfortable living area with a gas log fireplace and an adjoining den where you can enjoy our large flat screen television with satellite TV and DVD player. The spacious kitchen is complete with top of the line stainless steel appliances and a roomy dining area. A private guest bath and large bedroom with queen bed are also conveniently located on the main floor.
Upstairs you will find the master bedroom and two guest bedrooms. The master bedroom is beautifully decorated with vaulted ceilings and an open, airy floor plan. There are his and hers walk in closets, and a plush queen sized bed with luxurious linens. The bathroom includes a soaking tub and an elegant tiled shower. Attached to the master bedroom is a study with a desk and two comfortable leather chairs. There are many windows throughout the rooms to enable guests to enjoy spectacular mountain views. Across the hall from the master there is are two bedrooms. One of these rooms has a cozy queen bed on a wrought iron and wood sleigh bed frame. The other bedroom has a pair of twin beds and overlooks the backyard of the house. Each of the bedrooms are spacious and have a vast amount of closet space, not to mention an incredible view.
Whispering Hills has an attached guest house with a game room and a large loft bedroom. The bedroom upstairs includes two cozy twin beds and a queen bed. There is also room for an extra bed (available on request). For those rainy days, or to keep the children busy, the game room lodges a pool table and an air hockey table. There is also a Dart board and a flat screen 32 inch television with DVD and Xbox. For those who appreciate a little more old fashioned entertainment, there is a closet filled with board games, as well as sports equipment.
The roomy private deck located on the back of the home also houses a hot tub with an breathtaking mountain view, the perfect place to sit back and relax with your favorite beer, wine or just a glass of sweet tea, and some great company. Next to the hot tub is a gas BBQ, perfect for family cook outs.
Whispering Hills also has some of the most beautiful waterfalls and swimming holes imaginable. In the living room you will find a guest book with all the information on where to go, and how to find these magnificent natural treasures.
