Elegant 4+ Bedroom Home (nursery with "nanny bed") with shared pool and tennis courts located directly on Kailua Beach.
For the best rates, this site is managed by the owners. This beautiful beachfront estate, just steps away from the white sand of Kailua Beach, captures the very essence of island beachfront living. The high ceilings in the open living spaces invite the trade winds indoors, and the French doors open wide to create that unique island lifestyle.
Recent landscaping renovations have created the perfect tropical island paradise overlooking spectacular Kailua Beach and Kailua Bay, with the Mokolua Islands off shore and Maui and Molokai on the horizon.
The house is beautifully furnished in new island style furniture in every room. Each bedroom suite has an adjoining full bath, including the nursery, which offers a king "nanny bed" if needed, in addition to a crib. Each suite opens onto the protected courtyard for outside access, with one suite offering a private courtyard of it's own. The master suite upstairs includes a private furnished balcony that looks directly onto the blue waters of Kailua Bay. The nursery suite balcony upstairs also looks out over the beach and bay beyond. Each suite is air conditioned and furnished with island style furnishings. Each suite also has cable T.V.
The gourmet kitchen with granite countertops is large and inviting for full family style cooking, and also can be closed off from the formal dining room which looks out over the beach. There is an outdoor dining area directly outside the French doors leading out from the formal dining room that also overlooks the beach.
The dining room is elegantly appointed with high-backed rattan throne seating for 12 with room for additional seating. There is also a less formal dining area off of the kitchen that seats 4 with 4 more at the nearby counter. This dining area boasts a private lanai area with French doors leading out into the yard.
The protected courtyard is a private paradise into itself. It was recently landscaped and lighted using intricate Japanese Pagodas. The entire property was also re-landscaped and lighted, resulting in a seaside resort feeling comparable to the finest luxury resorts in Waikiki. The finishing touch in the landscape plan includes a new sun deck on the beachside that puts you within "a stones throw" of the water.
There is parking for 5 vehicles completely off of the private lane that serves the property. The shared pool and tennis courts are just 4 houses up the lane, shared between 13 other properties. The pool is heated, and the facilities are kept in perfect condition by a professional staff.
This property is a legally permitted vacation rental, which assures the vacationing client that the property is a legitimately zoned business and that the property will be available when you arrive.
You will arrive to fresh flowers, a gift basket, and a friendly off-site caretaker who can do advanced grocery shopping (for a minimal fee), arrange for babysitting, maid service, give restaurant directions and recommendations and book other activities to help you enjoy your island vacation.
You can enjoy the incredible sunrise, stroll the beach and bathe in the crystal blue waters of Kailua Bay. Also watch for sea turtles and watch whales breaching from the breathtaking views in every room.
Nearby in Kailua there is every type of water sport available for lessons or rentals. There is a Safeway grocery store within walking distance, also a family style restaurant. Kailua downtown is about 2 miles away, offering a wonderful selection of restaurants and island shops, as well as water sports equipment for rent or purchase
