It’s perfectly located on Kauai's most beautiful private beach, the site of Gilligan's Island. This breathtaking crescent shaped bay, known as Moloaa Bay, offers solitude and seclusion, yet is close to several towns with shopping and restaurants.
This beautiful Hawaiian vacation rental home right on the beach offers understated elegance and incredible ocean views from most every room. Designed by renowned architect, MIT graduate, Tim Bradley, the makai, (ocean), side of the home features high ceilings and glass walls of multi slide patio doors, bringing spectacular ocean views indoors. A roof-top lanai (deck) crowns this impressive residence.

Check-in time is 3 p.m., check-out is 10 a.m. Early check-in or late check-out may be available with prior notice.
A Security Deposit of $500.00 ($1000 for entire house) is required within 5 days of booking to confirm your reservation. Written confirmation and a Rental Contract will be mailed to you as soon as we receive your deposit.
Final payment of rental fee is due 45 days prior to your arrival date (60 days prior for Christmas bookings).
11.167% State of Hawaii taxes (consists of 4.167% GET and 7% TAT) will be added to all rental charges.
The one-time Out Cleaning Fee is $150.00 + 4.166% tax ($300 + tax for entire house) . Please note that the Out Cleaning Fee is totally separate from the Rental fee and non-refundable. Maid service during your visit can be arranged for approximately $45 per visit when renting the entire house for 7 or more nights, cleaning fee includes a mid week "touch-up".
Please note that the Security Deposit is totally separate from the Rental fee. Security Deposit will be refunded by mail (less long distance phone charges, and any willful damage, not normal wear and tear) approximately 14 days after your departure, following the Cleaning and Inventory Inspection.
* Cancellation Policy: You may forfeit your Security Deposit if we are given a cancellation notice less than thirty (30) days (45 days for Christmas) prior to your check-in date. After the contract is in force and you decide to cancel your reservations WITH SUFFICIENT NOTICE, verbal or written, we will void your confirmed booking with only a $35.00 cancellation fee. We will then refund you the remainder of the Security Deposit.
* The home cannot be sublet or assigned to others without advance consent from the Landlord.
* There is no charge for on-island local calls. Long distance calls can be made with your long distance carrier/calling card or through operator assistance using your credit card number.
* No smoking
Only members of the Rental Party (information of which is previously given to the booking agent) to stay at the property. Only 4 persons in main house and 3 in suite.
No Parties/Functions within the rental property.
No pets/animals allowed within the home or property.

Reservation Deposit:
Deposit in the amount of $500 is required to secure reservation.
* Reservations not secured by a deposit within 7 days may be cancelled.
* Balance including taxes for entire period reserved is due 30 days before arrival (60 days Christmas) or reservation is considered cancelled.
Cancellations/Changes:
*Cancellations/changes must be received 30 days (60 days Christmas) before check-in to receive deposit refund (less $50 processing fee).
* Deposit will be forfeited if cancellations/changes occur less than 30 (60 holiday) days notice, unless room can be re-rented.
* No refunds for early departure, unless room can be re-rented. If concerned about the forfeiture of your rent/deposit as a result of late cancellation, ask your travel agent about trip cancellation/interruption insurance.
* Travel insurance typically covers your losses if a family medical crises or certain other emergencies force you to abandon or abbreviate a trip

The main house, Hale Olu'olu Ahe, (House of Cool Breezes), features an open living room with breath taking panoramic ocean views and a beautiful, well-equipped kitchen with granite countertops and marble floor. The home offers two bedrooms, one with a king bed and a fabulous ocean view and one with a queen bed and peaceful mountain and river view. There are two marble baths, one boasting a soothing whirlpool Jacuzzi tub to quickly relieve jet lag and allow you to settle into island life. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a family vacation, this house has everything you'll need for an unforgettable stay.
Hale Ka’ao, (House of Romance), a private, romantic, spacious ocean-view master suite, features a romantic king bed. The living area offers a cozy atmosphere. Curl up on the sofa and take in the spectacular ocean view afforded from the glass walls. You can listen to the soothing sounds of the ocean waves or for a more traditional entertainment, enjoy music, Satellite TV or a good movie.
