Property Description
Lookout Lodge, a 5-bedroom/3 bathroom cabin, is located in the heart of Beech Mountain. The resort is located less than a mile away. Guests can enjoy the best snow activities available on the East coast including skiing, snowboarding, and ice skating. During the summer, the slopes are transformed into hiking trails, mountain biking trails, chairlift rides, and disc golf. Many other hiking trails lead to mountain streams and waterfalls. Buckeye Recreation Center, located a short distance away, offers basketball courts, racquetball courts, tennis courts, a playground, and a picturesque lake where you can paddle-boat and fish. Six miles away, at the foot of the mountain, is the town of Banner Elk. You will find attractions like Sugar Creek Gem Mining and High Country UTV Tours. Wildcat Lake and Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster can be found nearby. Linville Caverns, Grandfather Mountain and other attractions are nearby.
Lookout Lodge has breathtaking views from all its windows. The two-story stone fireplace and vaulted tongue-in groove ceilings are a feature of this lodge. The kitchen is fully-equipped and has all the amenities. The main table and bar can accommodate 12 people. Enjoy the cool weather on the covered deck and enjoy the surrounding views.
Sleeping arrangements are as follows:
-King Bedroom in Main Level. Shared bathroom with walk-in Shower. Sleeps 2
-Queen Bedroom in Main Level, Shared Bathroom with Shower- sleeps 2
-King Bedroom in the Upper Level. Shared bathroom with shower and bathtub. Sleeps 2.
-King Bedroom in the Upper Level. Shared bathroom with shower and bathtub. Sleeps 2.
-Lower-level sleeping space with two full beds, twin-over-twin bunkbeds, and a queen-sleeper couch, shared bathroom with a walk-in shower. Sleeps 8
The lower level includes a game area with a bar, a pool-table and hdtv. There are also comfortable seats. A fire pit is also located in the backyard. This cabin is not suitable for pets. Parking is available for up to three (3) vehicles. This home is accessible via 17 steps. The home has no air conditioning but guests can still enjoy Beech Mountain's mild summer temperatures by leaving the windows wide open.
