To the side, a group of cushioned rockers offers the perfect spot to unwind and watch the breeze move through the trees. Grill out and dine alfresco at the outdoor dining table, then soak in the private hot tub as stars emerge over the mountains. Later, follow the stone path to the fire pit in the yard — the perfect place for evening conversations and stargazing.

Inside, soaring vaulted ceilings and a wall of windows frame sweeping mountain views and flood the great room with natural light. Fine finishes, warm wood accents, and curated decor blend rustic charm with modern luxury. The open-concept main floor features a gourmet kitchen for cooking and gathering, a coffee bar, a custom hardwood dining table, and a cozy living space anchored by a gas fireplace and Smart TV.

The main-level master suite is a serene retreat with a king bed, private deck access, long-range views, and a spa-style ensuite featuring a massive tiled shower and a soaking tub. The bunk room on the main level is custom-designed with double-over-double bunks (each with twin trundles), a cozy hangout space with a TV, Buck Shot arcade, and an air hockey table — a favorite for the kids. Upstairs, the open loft overlooks the great room and includes a comfy couch that converts to a queen sleeper and a foosball table. Two beautifully furnished bedrooms — one with a king bed and one with a queen — share a full bathroom, offering additional space and privacy for guests.

Guests have access to a wide array of world-class community amenities, including hiking trails and mountain biking, as well as seasonal events and family activities. Please note: while an amenity fee is included in your rental and grants access to most offerings, certain areas, such as the fitness center, remain exclusive to homeowners and are not accessible to renters.

Eagles Nest Newest Addition: Epic Chophouse! - As a renter in the community, you will have access to this great venue. When at the restaurant, mention you are a renter in Eagles Nest for admittance. Please note that Owners of the Eagles Nest Community have priority seating at this restaurant. Please be aware of this before you arrive at the venue.

Please note: During the winter months, 4WD or AWD vehicles are required to access the property safely, and chains may be necessary in inclement weather conditions. The Elk and Shepherd Lodge is not pet-friendly. Guests may use their own streaming accounts on the Smart TVs throughout the home. A Blink doorbell camera captures the porch and driveway, and Blink cameras capture the garage, the left side of the backyard, the rear deck, and the woods.

CANCELLATION POLICY: 

You may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival, you will receive a refund of half the amount paid to date. Cancellations within 30 days before the arrival date do not receive a refund. If you purchase travel insurance and the reason for the cancellation is covered, you may recover the entire amount.
