Our Charming cottage is surrounded by miles of beaches, a challenging golf course, aand a magical meritime forest. Bicycles, golf carts, and walking are the primary means of transportation on the island.
Bald Head Island is a 2,000 acre boat accessed, community located off the southeastern coast of north Carolina at the mouth of the Cape Fear River.
Bald Head Island is part of the Smith Island Complex, which includes Bluff Island, Middle Island, and a 10,000 acre salt marsh that is deeded in perpetuity to the state of North Carolina. The Island is also the site of Old Baldy (c. 1817), North Carolina's oldest lighthouse.

The main house has 4 bedrooms and 4 baths, a fully equipped kitchen, two sitting rooms with TV/VCR, dining room tables seating 16, and 4 adjoining porches.
The Crofter( a smaller version of the main house) contains one bedroom and one bath, a sitting area with with TV/VCR, efficiency kitchen, and adjoining screened porch.
Outside is a gas grill, 2 golf carts(4 and 6 passenger), 10 bicycles, and wonderful views of the golf course, maritime forest, and ocean. Conveniently located near the club, a temporary membership is included in your rental( includes golf, pool, and dining privileges.

Come to relax on the restful porches, search for seashells, swim in the ocean or pool, play golf, or just put your feet up and enjoy the beautiful panoramic views!!!
