Walk into the lobby of Lahaina Inn and you'll feel as though you've stepped back in time to the turn of the 20th century. It's perfectly appropriate because the inn is located in the heart of historic and colorful old LahainaTown on the warm, westside of Maui. It's easy to imagine walking back out the front door to the Lahaina of the early 1900s.
Ten rooms and two suites, decorated with authentic, antique furnishings create an atmosphere of adventure and romance usually reserved for European inns. Owner Toni Johnson has captured the charm and elegance of the past and combined it flawlessly with modern features and amenities that seasoned travelers expect (take the tour of the guest rooms). Except TV - you won't find any television set in your room at Lahaina Inn. There's no need - what with the history and culture of Lahaina and Hawaii right outside the door.
Lahaina, unlike so many other tourist destinations, has a real "sense of place." You can feel it and see it in the locals - by the pride they take in their town and by the way they treat folks that come to visit. Although Lahaina Inn's history originates in the early 1900s, there is so much more to the annals of Lahaina. It goes way back - back to the ancient Hawaiians that first lived along the shores of West Maui.
If you're looking for a vacation "where history comes alive," Lahaina is the place to visit and Lahaina Inn is the place to stay. Enjoy!

The Rooms at Historic Lahaina Inn
Indulge in an atmosphere of modern luxury combined with the charm and romance of a turn-of-the-century Inn. Each of Lahaina Inn's twelve rooms are individually decorated in authentic period furnishings.
All rooms include a private bathroom with antique fixtures, ceiling fan, air conditioning, lanai with two wooden rockers, blow dryers, iron and ironing board and CD alarm clocks. The Makai and Mauka Suites include a day bed and small refrigerator.

Community Living Room
Complimentary hot tea, hot chocolate or freshly brewed Island Blend Coffee is served each morning in the community living room. A microwave and toaster are available for your use. This is the only room at Lahaina Inn with a television set and we now offer high speed wireless internet access. You'll find many books and magazines as well as board games here for your enjoyment. For a day at the beach, ice chests, ice and beach mats are available.
TRANSPORTATION:
The majority of guests arrive at the main airport, Kahului Airport, which is approximately 35 miles from the Lahaina Inn. If flying through Honululu, you may be interested in inter-island flights that come directly into the West Maui Airport, the Kapalua Airport. Rental cars, airport shuttles and taxis are available at both airports. Parking is available adjacent to the Inn at a daily rate of $7 for our guests with cars. Please call for directions directly to the Lahaina Inn Parking lot.
