Property Description

One Kingfisher is a three-bedroom cabin that sleeps nine (9) and features three (3) separate living areas. It is located among mature native pine trees. Kingfisher is centrally located between Blowing rock and Boone. It is close to many High Country attractions such as Tweetsie Railroad, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort and Beech Mountain Ski Resort. Hawksnest, Moses Cone Estate Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway.


The great room features soaring tongue-and-groove pine ceilings and wood floors. It also has an HDTV and a stone wood-burning fireplace. The great room opens to the kitchen and can seat six people comfortably. The kitchen features granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The master suite on the main level features a log king-sized bed, a HDTV and private access to a deck. The ensuite master bathroom has a double vanity, a jacuzzi tub and a tiled walk in shower.


The loft area is upstairs and overlooks the great room as well as the dining room. For extra dining space, the loft has a second 4-seater table. A tee-pee is available for children. A full bathroom is located off the loft area. It has a combination tub/shower and two additional bedrooms with custom log furniture. One bedroom has a queen-sized bed and the other has a twin-overfull bunk bed.


The downstairs den/media area has plenty of comfortable seating and an HDTV for watching the game or enjoying a movie. There is also a queen-size sleeper sofa and a third full bathroom with a combination bathtub/shower. The den has a covered deck with hot tub and steps that lead to a stone courtyard with fire pit.
