This is a great little getaway for the family or with the significant other, only 45 minutes from Atlanta. Newly redecorated, private chalet with many deer, wild turkeys, plaited woodpeckers, squirrels, raccoons and other varmints that can be your friends during your stay. Amenities include 3 TVs, DVDs, new appliances, and a great view of lake and mountain. Lakes are stocked with rainbow trout, marina, 27-hole championship mountain golf course, great parks and mountain towns within 45 minutes for tourism. Reduced Winter Rates are available.

Directions Via I-575N from Atlanta: From I-75: Go north on I-575 to 1st red light (before Jasper) turn right onto Hwy-108. Continue on I-108 for approx 14.2 miles to Steve Tate Hwy. Turn left, go 1.5 miles to entrance of Big Canoe on your left.
Directions via GA 400N from Atlanta: Go north on GA 400 to Hwy 369 exit. Turn left and go 12 miles to Yellow Creek Rd. Turn right and follow to the end. Turn right, go 1/4 mile to Steve Tate Hwy. Turn left t1.5 miles to entrance of Big Canoe on the left.
Deposits: 1/2 deposit is required at reservations; the balance is due 30 days before arrival.
Cancellations: A full refund will be provided if the reservation is cancelled at least 30 days prior to arrival. Between 15 & 29 days prior to arrival, 1/2 will be refunded. If cancellations are within 14 days of arrival, no refund will be made.

Activities: Wide range of activities. 27-hole championship golf course offers mountain views and winds through valleys, streams, and lakes. Rated one of the top 20 courses in Atlanta. One of the finest tennis complexes in Atlanta area. Two indoor courts, four outdoor courts, and four outdoor clay courts. State of the art fitness center with indoor Olympic sized pool, hot tub, racquetball, nautilus equipment, and cardiovascular machines. Additional outdoor pool overlooking lake and surrounded by mountains. Picnic areas, paddleboats, canoes, beach volleyball, and natural rock slide. Both the fitness center and outdoor pool area require a small fee for entrance. Big Canoe covers more than 7000 acres of preserved woodlands with over 15 miles of hiking trails. There is also a wonderful restaurant with a fabulous view overlooking the lake and golf course as well as a sandwich shop and general store. Close to Dahlonega, Helen and the North Georgia Premium Outlets. Right outside of Big Canoe is a small shopping area with new grocery store and two new restaurants. Additional dining options nearby.
Area: Beautiful North Georgia mountains. 45 minute drive to the historic towns of Blue Ridge and Dahlonega. Many historic sites around old town charm. Also less than 1 hour to Atlanta, White Water Six Flags and Kennesaw Mountain National Park. Amicolola Falls State Park is less than 30 minutes for our chalet.
