Minimum age to rent is 25 - this applies to all guests with the exception of multi-generational families. Property condition
First time staying at this property and management company. Photos of the property were generally accurate and home has been nicely updated. The home was very clean with the exception of the kitchen which the management company rectified the following day. However, family room chairs need the cushions replaced, kitchen table stools are counter height and not suitable around a table and pool lounge chairs are broken down. that said, the house was well equipped with plenty of nice linens and all the basics. The beds appeared to be new and the mattresses extremely comfortable. Our guest said he could not remember when he had slept so well. The pool was well maintained and much larger than you normally find, my granddaughter was happy she could swim laps. With such a beautiful location, the view could be enhanced if some of the overgrowth bushes beyond the wall were cut back in order to see the golf course and ocean. This being the Fourth of July and more crowded than usual, we only ate out once on SSI, Barbara Jeans, and once on Jekyll, we ordered pizza from the Mellow Mushroom. SSI is my favorite beach location on the southeast coast and we have been visiting for 30 years. Although there have been any changes over the years, it hasn't lost its charm and we will continue to return a few times each year.
