The cabins are located in a small cabin and residential community near Seven Springs Mountain Resort and Laurel Hill State Park in the beautiful Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania in Somerset County. This is a great get-away location from March to December.

SPECIAL NOTE on rental season:
With rising fuel costs this year we will be closed from December 15, 2008 to March 13, 2009.
Reservation and Policy information from our website
Check in: 3:00 pm, earlier with prior approval
Check out: 11:30 am, later with prior approval
2 night minimum stay on weekends
3 night minimum holiday weekend reservations
1 night weekend or holiday reservations will be accepted only within 10 days of desired reservation date.
Children age 17 and under free
Deposit required: $50.00 to hold reservation. This must be received by date indicated on rental contract that will be send after reservation is made.
Confirmation: Upon receipt of your deposit and signed contract you will receive a statement showing balance due, reservation dates, and directions.
Balance due for rental is required two weeks before rental date or by due date noted on contract. It is our hope and expectation that everyone will take care of our cabin and leave it as they found the dcabin. We reserve the right to require a security deposit. If such a deposit is required and there is no damage or excess cleaning costs, the security deposit will be returned within 14 days of your stay.
Cancellation: Deposit refunded if cancellation is requested 60 days or more prior to rental date. Within the 60 days your deposit is only refunded if we are able to rent your rental dates.
Touch of Home Cabins accepts: cash, check, or money orders only.
Registered guests only: Please consult with us before inviting guests.
You need to bring: bed linens, towels (kitchen and bath), wash cloths. Pillows and blankets are provided. Linen service available at extra fee.
Touch of Home Cabins is smoke free.
Previously approved pets welcome, $10.00 nightly fee. We ask that when pets are outside they be leashed. You are also asked to clean up after your pets. Due to allergies in owner’s family no cats please.
Maximum occupancy: 6 persons including children.
Tents on property only with owner’s written permission.

Inside and out Touch of Home Cabins offer a friendly, relaxing, warm and cozy atmosphere. The Kimmel Cabin is on a wooded acre with a small pond. You might also enjoy a visit from deer, wild turkey, squirrels, rabbits, ground hogs, song birds and other animals.
The Kimmel Cabin has three bedrooms. Two with double beds and one with a single bed. A roll-away bed is available.
Cabin includes a complete modern kitchen (except a dishwasher!) -
Full size gas stove, refrigerator, and medium size microwave oven
Assortment of electric appliances.
An abundance of cooking dishes and tools, table and silverware (service for 8)
There is a large central mountain stone gas log fireplace.
There is a TV as well as VCR and DVD players - some children and family movies. TV via antenna with a few major network channels.
There is radio with CD player.
Full bath with shower
Vented gas heater in addition to gas log fireplace
Cabin is on a quiet private dead end road
Outside there is fire ring, gas grill and picnic table.
Cell phones should work at cabin

Two night weekend reservations only.
One night non holiday weekend reservations accepted within 10 days of arrival date.
Three night holiday weekend reservations: May 23—26; July 3 to 6; Aug 29 to Sept. 1
Less than three night holiday weekend reservations accepted within 5 days of arrival date. May 23—26; July 3 to 6; Aug 29 to Sept. 1
One night weekday reservations accepted anytime.

Linens: $5.00 per person for each set of linens requested during stay.
(included are bed linens, bath and kitchen towels and wash cloths)

Per night—$67.00 per night
Seven or more nights - $57.00 per night
Three to five nights Sunday through Thursday—$62.00 per night
Fall Rates: October 2, 2008 to December 14
Minimum two night rate - $150.00 (1)
Seven or more nights - $65.00 per night
Three to five nights Sunday through Thursday—$70.00 per night
Both Cabins:
Approved pets: $10.00 per night ($5.00 per night for 7 night or longer stay)
These prices do not include 6% state and 3% local hotel taxes.
With the increase in fuel costs both cabins will be closed December 14, 2008 to March 13, 2009.
