Property Description
While enjoying your stay at Double Eagle Lodge: Bear Suite, you have access to most amenities inside of Eagles Nest. Amenities available to you include: Newly opened General Store Sportsman’s Grille (Wed-Sun. Hours vary) Fire Pit Woodland Trail System (ATV Trails, Hiking, Biking) (Restrooms and Pavilion coming soon!) Vineyard Food and Wine served Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each HOURS: Thur & Fri 4p-10p. Sat & Sun 1p-7p Please note all visitors on premise must be 16 years or older. This is strictly enforced. Guest do not have access to the locked off portion of the Sportsman’s Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only.
The Bear Suite includes two individual bedrooms. The master suite has a King size bed and en suite bath with a soaking tub and double sinks, flat screen TV, and deck access to enjoy the incredible views of Grandfather Mountain. The second bedroom has two twin beds, flat screen TV, deck access, and a separate bath.
The Bear Suite is located on the second level of the Lodge. Guests staying in Bear Suite may enjoy access to the gourmet kitchen, wood-burning fireplace, and outdoor fire pit. All suites in the Double Eagle Lodge have Keurig coffee makers, DirecTV, and WiFi.

Additional notes:
- CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
- It is plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March, and chains may also be necessary to access the all properties in winter months. We are happy to help you find the home with the access you are most comfortable with, any time of year!
- This property is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets into this home.
- Firewood for the community fire pit may be added on for $25/night with a week's notice.
- Please note that all Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
