Property Description
This comfortable condo is located in the first of two mountainside condominium buildings overlooking the Bryce Resort Golf Course (winter views work best, but leaf cover creates an intimate, private experience). This unit is located on a 2 acre parcel, at the end a mountain road. It's only 1.4 miles from Bryce Resorts main lodge, ski/bike lifts and restaurant & bars. The Basye Community Store is also only 1.4 miles from the condo.
FEATURES & AMENITIES:
Senedo Condo #201 is a main floor, two bedroom unit with 1.5 bathrooms. It's directly accessible from the parking lot. The large covered balcony makes it feel like a treehouse, even though the unit is on the ground floor. Picnic tables and charcoal grills are available in the common area outside.
This unit features a galley style kitchen with a convenient dining area either adjacent to the kitchen or the living room. The kitchen also has a washer/dryer. The living room has a wood-burning fire place, rustic furniture (including a sofa bed), a flat-screen TV, and a treetop view of Bryce Resort Golf Course and Great North Mountain. Winter views are the best. The main bedroom has a queen-sized bed, a half bathroom and a TV. It also includes a sauna. The second bedroom features a queen-sized bed with easy access to the main bathroom. The condo can comfortably sleep four people, but with the sleeper sofa in the living room it can sleep up to six.
Please take a close look at the photos. This condo is rustic, but clean and well-maintained. It's not modern but it is a comfortable and affordable retreat for guests of all ages.
The kitchen is equipped with basic cookware and tableware. Appliances are also provided. Please bring your favorite grind. The condo also comes with bedding (pillows and blankets), fresh linens for the beds, a towel set per maximum occupant, a travel-size bar of soap per maximum occupant, two dishwasher tabs per bathroom, three kitchen trashbags, a bath trashbag, ten paper towel rolls, ten kitchen dish towels, ten travel-size soaps, ten scrubby pads, and two laundry pods. We encourage guests who have large groups, are staying for several nights, or are heavy consumers of consumables to bring extra supplies, or purchase them from the local Basye Community Store.
The firewood bin is located beneath the maintenance building, between the two condominium buildings.
The TVs come with basic cable and the high-speed WiFi internet of 50mbps is enough for streaming, working and limited gaming. The Reception Office has a DVD player and a large selection of DVDs that you can borrow for free during your stay.
OTHER NOTABLES:
Pets are allowed for $100 per pet per stay (maximum of two).
Local security and police enforce the quiet hours after 10:00pm.
MOUNTAIN & VALLEY FUN:
Bryce Resort has many activities throughout the year. These include snow skiing/boarding and snow tubing. Other activities include swimming in Lake Laura, canoeing and paddle boarding. Bryce Resort also makes a great starting point for other adventures in the northern Shenandoah valley, such as hiking, fishing, hot-air ballooning, visiting wineries and breweries. You can also go antiquing, explore caverns, or attend the Shenandoah Music Festival in Orkney Springs on Saturdays during the summer.
