Property Description

Real Escapes Properties proudly presents this unique, special place right on the beach. Shasta's offers a relaxing, unique 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath living space. The ocean view is spectacular from all three levels.
The top floor suite has a king-sized bedroom, a full bath, and a living area with s kitchenette. The second floor is divided into two bedrooms, one with two bunk beds and one with a queen bed. Each bedroom has a full bathroom. The main floor includes a living area, twin sleeper couch, dining area, a well-equipped kitchen, and a bathroom.
Each floor has a full-length porch facing the ocean. The garage and picnic area are located on the ground floor, facing the beach and ocean.
The elevator is the primary way to access each floor. The property also has an outdoor spiral staircase on the oceanfront.
Flat screen TVs are available in the bedrooms and living room.

* The number of guests at the property is limited to nine (9). • Dogs are allowed with an additional pet fee.
There is parking for 2 cars. Please do not block driveway. • Direct beach access, walk to Pier Village
Outside the home, there are stairs. All guests except multi-generational family members are required to rent a property at a minimum age of 25.

Nice Property but needs some repairs.

We enjoyed being so close to the beach and loved the covered balconies on every floor. The windows in the queen room and bunkbed room don't close all the way. It made the rooms too warm at night and when the wind blew there was a howling sound. We had to put towels in the one to two inch gaps in the windows. It is also a little challenging when you only have an elevator inside the house and no stairs. The only stairs are outside. Other than that, we really enjoyed being close to the beach and the pier. We do plan on a return visit to this house and we hope the windows will be fixed.

Overall I would rate this place as 4 stars, but will share details on the good/ bad

Good: awesome location! Direct access onto the beach from the back deck; beautiful views, can walk to lighthouse, stores, restaurants, etc. I never got in the car again after we arrived. Big house with large rooms. The different floors allowed privacy for 2 couples when it came to bedrooms, but we were also able to share the common space with living room/ kitchen.

Bad: The place was not clean for the fee previous tenant paid. The utility drawer in kitchen with knives, spatulas, etc. was disgusting and full of mold. There is nothing in the kitchen as starters - no salt/pepper, no spices, no coffee, no dish soap. While the rooms were spacious, the fact your choice was an old, slow internal elevator or external spiral staircase to get from floor to floor (room to room) was strange. We had multiple outlets inside and out that didn’t’ work. I called the first day to let management know; said they would come look next day but never did.
