We really loved the location, the beach set up was very convenient. Kitchen was very well equipped with lots to cook most anything. Furniture was nice but wish there was a rug in the living area and bed room. constantly getting sand tracked everywhere. Overall an A+ for our family vacation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gulf Dunes. The condo was clean, and spacious, and matched the description in the photos. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The ice maker was a bonus. The bed was comfortable but a bit firmer than we are used to. The only recommendation I would make is to add an ottoman to the furniture in the living room so that there is a comfortable place to rest your feet!
The view from the balcony was amazing. We enjoyed watching the dolphins swim by in the early morning. We also took advantage of the offered Explorie activities and my husband golfed several times! We highly recommend The Shack restaurant in Fort Walton Beach (excellent Lobster Crab Cakes) and BoShamps in Destin for a pricier but excellent seafood dinner!
We cannot wait to return and will definitely use Brooks and Shorey again!!

Always a pleasure at Gulf Dunes. The only thing negative about this trip was not being able to sit on the balcony due to cigarette and pot smoke coming our way from neighbors. My daughter has asthma so we wish there could be a smoker's building and a total non-smokers building. And I think marijuana is illegal in Florida. Seemed to be from a couple of doors down from us...maybe 506 or 505. But hard to say for sure. Also the 2nd bedroom tv did not work at picture on it; just "no cable" sign when turned on screen. We love Gulf Dunes. Maryanna is the best!

Great location, wonderful views, clean, modern and plenty of space. We loved our stay. Unit above us was going through a remodel so it was a little noisy each morning as they were hammering away, but no fault of anybody.

We decided to try thanksgiving at the beach. It was a wonderful trip with perfect weather. The condo was very roomy and had an awesome view. It was within walking distance to restaurants, the pier and some stores. Also very clean and the bunk room was perfect for kids. We had a great week!

The vacation rental was nice. Beds were comfortable. The best part of this unit was the view off the nice sized deck. I wish there were a couple of rugs. I felt like there was sand all over the floor. The sliding door is very hard to pull open. Other than that, no complaints.

We loved our vacation rental. The Condo was well equipped and had very pretty decor. We loved the location and the view from our balcony was amazing. It had 2 tables and several chairs on the balcony which we loved! The only negative thing is when I had to move one of the chairs in the living room it was very dirty under it. It was the same under all the tables and chairs. I would definitely recommend this condo and Brooks and Shorey Resorts. We will be using them again.

We enjoyed our week at Gulf Dunes 508. The rental was very clean and came with basic amenities like dish towels, paper towel, dishwasher soap, bath towels, etc. We enjoyed the layout of the condo and the beach views. The woman who works at the front desk was very helpful, and you can't beat the daily setup of chairs on the beach! My husband took advantage of the free golf that was included with the rental and enjoyed that as well. All in all, a good choice for our family of four.

The view from this unit is amazing. The unit could use a deep cleaning and some updates. It seems tired. We stayed in this unit a couple of years ago and the comforters are the same and quite worn. The stove needs to be replaced as does the dryer. The cabinets are peeling and are in need of replacing as well. Our trip was amazing and the view was beautiful.

I have nothing negative about our 4 night stay. The unit was very tastefully decorated. The bunk room provided extra beds without the fee of a 3 bedroom. I enjoyed not being right over the pool. We go to bed early and appreciated the quiet of our location. The employees who checked us in were very nice. We loved having a covered parking space. I also appreciate the ease of leaving without a huge list of chores that other rentals have left. We loved having a beach side pool. We frequently stay on Okaloosa Island and we decided that Gulf Dunes is our favorite. We will definitely be back.

Family Spring Break 2017 2017-04-03

Loved the location, view, beaches, and ample space. The condo seems to have a new hot water heater, which no cold showers really do matter when you're getting 5 people showered for dinner out after a beach day. The floors are beautiful and the decor is nice and beachy. The kitchen counters and appliances definitely need to be replaced and upgraded asap for sure. With those and some improvements they are already in the works on (cabinet fronts), this condo would be nearly perfect. Easy check in and checkout and having a nice person like MaryAnn at the desk right at the condo location is great! I will definitely be keeping my eye on this condo for upgrades for future spring break rental possibilities!

What a great direct view of the beach from this fifth floor condo which is clean and decorated beautifully! With 2 double beds in one bedroom, a king bed,and a bunk bed room, there is plenty of space for the whole family. Great location for families. I can't wait to go back!
