Property Information
This luxurious oceanfront home is situated within the gated seclusion of Ocean Sound Village. It is one of the largest private homes on Topsail Island with four stories, almost 5,000 square feet of heated living space, an elevator, a private pool and 1,000+ square feet of sun decks overlooking the ocean and Intracoastal Waterway.
It sleeps up to 27 and offers 7 generous bedrooms and 6 baths complete with hair dryers. There are TVs in every bedroom and ceiling fans in most bedrooms except those with bunk beds. This extraordinary home was custom designed by Florez and Florez and offers an expansive, open floor plan with several living areas. The house provides enough space so each family member can find their own private getaway space – be it the 2nd floor Sitting Room, the 3rd floor Great Room, or the unique 4th floor Tower Room…a 16’x30’ room that offers the best views on the entire island.
The home also boasts the ultimate in entertainment for the entire family, including a private swimming pool, hot tub, and basketball hoop, as well as a full-sized pool table, foosball table, ping-pong table and video gaming! The location is perfect…less than ½ mile to a public boat access and less than 2 miles to the North Shore Golf and Country Club…Golf Digest’s only coastal North Carolina 4 star golf course.
Outside includes a large private pool, 1000+ feet of decking, a hot tub, basketball hoop, a gas grill and a picnic table. The first floor has enclosed garages as well as a dry entry area with elevator access. The second floor has the main entry area and a 13’x11’ Sitting Room containing a daybed with pop-up trundle, TV with DVD/VCR and video gaming machines. It also includes 5 bedrooms (3 masters with kings & 2 bedrooms that share a bath). Each of the 4 ocean front rooms has sliding doors that give access to the deck overlooking the ocean, and the 5th bedroom has a view of the intra-coastal waterway. This floor also has laundry facilities and baby equipment.
The third floor includes the main living area, kitchen, dining room, breakfast room plus two more bedrooms (a master with a king and a bunk room whose divided bath doubles as the powder room). The great room is the focal point of the house with its vaulted ceiling and large windows overlooking the ocean. It also includes a large TV with DVD/VCR, fireplace, sectional sleeper sofa, chairs and a stereo system. The dining room also has a vaulted ceiling and has views of the ocean and sound. The gourmet kitchen has 2 granite islands, 2 refrigerators, 2 dishwashers, upgraded appliances and plenty of utensils, serving & cooking items to accommodate large groups. The dining room, breakfast room and islands will seat 27 people at the same time for dinner.
The tower room is an oasis itself. Access to the tower is by crossing a bridge overlooking the great room and dining room. In this unique room resides the full-size pool table, poker table and four chairs, foosball table, dartboard, wet bar, TV and a "Romeo and Juliet" balcony overlooking the great room below…as well as front and rear decks that provide the best views of Topsail Island.
Restrictive covenants for Ocean Sound Village provide for no parking allowed anywhere other than garages and driveways. Vehicles are subject to towing at owner’s expense. Please consider this when making reservations or travel arrangements.
