Located between Melbourne with its Historic District filled with specialty and antique shops and Melbourne Beach, known for its parks and beaches, this town offers the best of both worlds. A number of upscale shops, restaurants, and galleries are located along downtown Fifth Avenue. The town caters to the needs of tourists offering shopping, dining, swimming, fishing, boating, surfing, and boating and golf. Endangered sea turtles nest along the town's shores from May through October. The town was also designated as a bird sanctuary in 1975. A recently refurbished boardwalk offers a place to stroll along the ocean. Indialantic remains a natural, unspoiled place to relax and unwind.
