Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Gettysburg Campground.
The kind folks working here and all the magnificent passtime activities have people coming here. If time allows, Catoctin Mountain Park is a national park worth stopping at; if you don't mind getting covered
with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Owens Creek. Good hiking is available along the Green Ridge Trail; a round of golf at nearby Cedar Ridge Golf Course is a splendid way to kill some time |
